Balanced Well-Being Staff Breakfast Roundup!

Grace: I eat one cup of low fat plain Greek yogurt, Fage brand, with blueberries and a small sprinkling of granola OR an egg scramble with spinach.

Kara: I start the day with one cup of black coffee. I typically take either a smoothie to go on working days or hard boiled eggs. My smoothie includes Xymogen’s Fit Food Vegan protein powder, frozen berries, greens and almond milk.

Nicole: Most mornings I have a smoothie! 1 cup organic berries, 1 cup organic spinach, Metagenics Ultra Meal Daily Support in either chocolate or vanilla and water. I also have a cup of black coffee with 1 tbsp of organic half and half and a scoop of Vital Protein’s collagen peptides.

Ella: I generally start the day with 16 oz green tea with 2 scoops of Vital Proteins collagen peptides, 1 tbsp of full fat coconut milk (Native Forest is my favorite brand because it is organic and BPA free) and 1 tsp of honey. Mid morning I have a smoothie with full fat coconut milk, a raw pastured raised chicken egg, 1-2 scoops collagen peptides, 1 cup greens, 1 cup frozen berries, water and a splash of apple juice. I love the Big B’s brand of apple juice. This routine keeps me full and satisfied until at least early afternoon!
